Gabe Walker

A True Mountain ManGabe is an expert on the Mountain. This former mountain climber and Rescue Ranger has spent his whole life facing the unique challenges presented by the harsh terrain of the mountain landscape. Gabe's 35 years of experience stretch over 2000+ climbs and rescue missions, where he was able to rescue 437 trapped climbers and guide countless new and experience climbers and hikers to the best trips of their lives. His love of climbing can only be matched by his respect for the power of the mountains he's so intimately familiar with.A Passion for Teaching Now retired from the sport himself, Gabe spends his time training the next generation of Rescue Rangers in the classroom, providing his years of expertise to climbers of all levels. His main focus, however, is on training climbers for the most extreme situations they could face, especially in harrowing rescue situations.
